The social media app is reportedly asking suspicious accounts for video selfies to confirm that they’re human. The 2022 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT, plans to expand its virtual interactive venue, The Spaceship, as a part of its New Frontier exhibition. The occasion will also host a “Biodigital Bridge” which Sundance programmer Shari Frilot called a human-scale screen-enabling interaction between physical and digital attendees. Created in partnership with immersive studio Active Theory, the bridge will assist basic chat, but will primarily enable festival-goers to see how other attendees experience Sundance. Frilot stated the digital platform “factors to the vital panorama of how cinema and storytelling is going to manifest . We’re here to not solely contribute to it, but to meet it and assist it.” Researchers arrange 320 honeypots to see how rapidly menace actors would goal uncovered cloud companies and report that 80% of them had been compromised in under 24 hours.
